For those of you who aren't familiar with the mind-numbing disease called Mommy Brain, let me enlighten you=).Mommy brain, is caused by lack of sleep, or extremely disrupted sleep for several months in a row, followed by a high dose of post natal hormones, and an excessive amount of whining and crying heard throughout the day. The signs and symptoms include, delayed response to any adult conversation, difficulty communicating with someone over 2 years of age, slight jealousy when your husband gets home from the Laker's game and notifies you he sat next to Leonardo DiCaprio while you spent two hours trying to get teething twins to sleep, sleep loss headache, abnormally large biceps from hauling babies around, inability to get anything accomplished for yourself, and others may perceive you as completely insane when they see you pushing a shopping cart while pulling a stroller at the same time, and finally you gain an overwhelmingly non judgemental attitude for any other parent experiencing the same symptoms!
Yes, the last few days have a been a little crazy. But, before I talk about our busy week, I have good news! Thanks to my sweet friend and nanny Sarah Lynn, I was able to take a nap today. Thus, there is hope for this devastating disease. My biggest hope is to one day sleep the whole night through without interruption. But, for now the best things for me entail a few good giggles from Rylie, some cuttles from Zoey, Brielle bopping to the beat of music, and time to laugh with Ryan. I just hope my mommy brain doesn't keep me from remembering as much as I'd like, I guess that's why amidst all of this craziness I am trying to blog.

That was awesome. And sadly, I TOTALLY KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. ugh. Sleep..... Ok, so it's 1:30 AM and I'm reading your blog, so it's sort of my fault. But since I don't get much free time during daylight hours I am willing to spare some sleep for this.
So did Ryan really sit by Leonardo? That's crazy. Was he nice? Or kind of a moron? Was he rude? Did he eat a hotdog or a pickle or something? These are all vitally important to answer...
Your girls are so stinking cute. I need to see them. We should plan a Utah rondevous (ok, so my spelling is really awful at 1:30 in the morning, and I have no idea how to spell that word...) Are you going to be heading that direction anytime near Thanksgiving? Because I MISS YOU, and I HAAAAAAAAAAAAVE to see you!!
Another symptom of Mommy Brain that Brooke has suffered from is getting into the a car, thinking it is her friend's car, strapping the car seat in, trying to start it, and then later, when the car is gone, assuming it is towed and calling the tow-truck company when all along, it wasn't even her friend's car!! :-)
But I'm sure I would have done the same thing if I had twin babies and a two-yr-old too!
It's true! Mommy brain has gotten the best of me, not only did I spend a good ten minutes in a strangers car, but I also tried to start it with a second set of spare keys that I conviently found near the gear shift!--too funny.
Melissa-I miss you too and I have yet to met Tally in person. I think my family is coming to us for Thanksgiving, but we have a Christmas Party in mid December around the same time of the Tabernacle's Christmas program. Also, If you feel like heading to Disney Land or the beach, come and stay with me! That would be so fun. We know we will be here till December for sure.
Yes. Ryan really sat by Leonardo and some other Celebs, whose names I can't remember (another mommy brain symptom). Ry said he was dressed sloppy, in a big T-shirt and hat. In Leo's defense, I told him he had to dress like that to blend in, I know this because me and Leo are tight like that...man, I am funny at 2:30am or what-Melissa, you awake?
Ha Ha Brooke you are cracking me up...You are too funny and cute. At least your house is clean and you have makeup on, I only have one child and I don't get those things accomplished. I think your doing great! Love you all and happy halloween.
